From the moment I first spoke with Wendi on the phone I knew that I was going to love these two. They are from Norfolk, VA but wanted a plantation wedding and found the most perfect venue tucked away in Nashville, NC. They planned their day from a far but traveled in to meet Matt and I just a few months ago. We met them at a small little Italian restaurant in Kannapolis and we instantly hit it off. It was a joy getting to hear their story and all what they envisioned for their day. The first time they met they wore the exact same color blue; and so it eventually became ‘their’ blue. It’s no surprise that this special color was the woven throughout their special day.

We loved every part of their intimate plantation wedding. It was a small celebration with close family and friends; full of sweet moments and tears. Their day was perfect. Thank you for having us capture your joy we are truly honored.

Joe does a lot of Spartan races so this was the perfect grooms cake! He actually proposed to Wendi right after he finished a race!
