Happy Monday!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather! I’m so excited that it’s warming up and staying light so much later! What a better way to start a Monday than with a post about two dear friends getting ready for their first baby!

Back in November, when Matt and I were in Louisville for Thanksgiving, my good friend Kelly and I met for coffee at our favorite little shop in Louisville, Blue Dog Cafe. It was there that she told me the exciting news that they are expecting! Their baby boy is due in July and I can’t wait to meet this little guy. Kelly and David are such dear friends of ours and there’s no doubt in my mind that they will make amazing parents!

We were in Louisville just two weeks ago to photograph a wedding, which will be coming to the blog soon, and while we in town Kelly and David had us over for dinner. They had just purchased their first home and it is amazing! I fell in love with it as soon as we pulled up. It’s a 1920’s bungalow that they are refinishing and updating. Kelly was about 23 weeks and we decided to do a mini maternity session in their new home, with the idea of a full session of both she and David in June. Enjoy!
