Happy Black Friday and I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving!! Mine was full of family, food and games! I loved that I was able to see some family who I haven’t seen for a while. We made the drive on Sunday to Louisville, KY for the holiday and exchange Christmas presents with my parents since we aren’t able to be there for Christmas itself. This week has been much needed and I feel so blessed to spend this time with family and friends!!

I am so excited to share this eshoot with you! Jennifer and Shaun are an adorable couple and I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph them! They fit so well together and really compliment one another! Jennifer and my husband Matt used to work together when we lived in Louisville and they became great friends! I have loved getting to know Jennifer over these past few years and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding in April! We started this shoot off on Eastern Parkway near their condo. The colors were fantastic and the light was amazing! Once the sun set we went downtown to the Waterfront to get some shots of the skyline. I pulled out my lighting equipment, set it up and fired away until I heard a splash…that’s right…my Canon 580 EXII fell off of the light stand, hit Matt in the head and landed in the Ohio River!!! Well of course I was disappointed but it was floating on the top so we pulled it out, put it in my bag and pulled out my second speed light and continued to shoot. When we got home we put it bag of rice and as of now the water has been pulled out but we have yet to turn it on. So, only time will tell! Anyway…enjoy some of my favorites from their session!!!
