When Matt and I were in Louisville, KY for Thanksgiving we were able to photograph four families who all happen to be such good friends of ours! I cannot explain how excited I am for our friends Tony and Heather who will be welcoming little Violette into the world NEXT WEEK!
I’ve known Tony for over 10 years and we’ve been a part of each other’s journeys and I’m so thankful to have a friend like him, who has actually been more of a brother to me. Watching him and Heather’s relationship develop and grow was so awesome, because they truly are perfect for each other; they make the other better. Heather works for Orphan Care Alliance and I love the woman that she is and the love for God she has. I have loved seeing Tony and Matt’s relationship grow to become something so awesome and I know that even with the distance we will be lifelong friends. We couldn’t be happier for these two and their little girl, who will be oh so loved.
The day we chose for their maternity session turned out to be a nasty rainy day, and we weren’t able to reschedule it, so we grabbed our umbrellas and headed to Mellwood Arts Center which provided some cover and a more industrial setting for their session. Enjoy some favorites!
