We met Chad and Christine at the Starbucks in Dillworth and we instantly loved them. They are such a sweet couple who are so easy to relate to. We loved hearing their story and getting to know them. They met a year and a half ago while both working at Family Dollar Corporate. They were engaged about 2 months ago at the restaurant where they went on their first date; Peculiar Rabbit. Chad had it all planned out, that they were going to go to the rooftop and it was going to be completely romantic. But it rained. When he thought that nothing was going his way, it finally stopped and they went to the rooftop. No one was up there so they were completely alone and he was able to get down on one knee with the sunset in the background; how romantic!

We decided to do their engagement session at Freedom Park in Uptown Charlotte since they spend some time there riding their bikes. The evening was perfect, we met up with them and it was like catching up with old friends. We talked and laughed the entire session. The only problem was that it was extremely humid, but they were great sports and powered through the heat!

We are so blessed to have the most amazing clients and we can’t wait for their wedding next year at the Mint Museum!
