As I mentioned in a previous post, earlier this month we went to Louisville, KY to visit family and friends and while we were there we have a few sessions. It was a great week full of fun, laughter and getting to know this awesome couple! I first met Rachel over Skype a few months ago and I just loved hearing all about their fall wedding, how they met and their love story. This job is truly the best! We get to meet so many amazing couples in love!

The day of their engagement session it was in the forecast to rain…and oh did it rain. We changed our location last minute to Tyler Park because of the overpass. We thought it would give great coverage while we waited out the storm. As Matt and I were driving through the crazy storm; I mean raining sideways storm, we looked at each other, laughed and said “Ok, we have umbrellas and an overpass, so let’s do this!” As soon as we arrived at the park the rain completely stopped! It was so amazing! Even though it was a tad humid, Chase and Rachel rocked it! The sun even poked out for a little bit! We had so much fun with these two and we can’t wait for their wedding this October!!
