Hi Sam! This is such a cute giveaway! 😉
Well….my favorite Valentine’s memory is my 1st Valentine’s with my boyfriend Frankie! Because I’m really not into Valentine’s, I told him not to do much! Several weeks before February 14, I randomly we were talking about candy or something and I told him that I love pecan clusters!
Valentine’s Day fell on a Tuesday, so after work we made reservations for dinner. When I got to Frankie’s apartment, I was surprised with beautiful flowers, a touching greeting card and a big bag of PECAN CLUSTERS! He remembered! It’s the small things 😉
Of course I already “like” Vamp and SL Photography on facebook! 😉
And I shared this giveaway on my fb page!! 😉
So excited you guys are doing this!!
My favorite Valetine’s day is of course the first
One Jake and I ever spent Together. I had never gone all out for someone before but he was special and we were definitlely still in that stage of attempting to impress each other. I decided to make two Pinterest recipes. Chicken tortilla soup and mocha cupcakes. All
From scratch. Worst idea of my life. I put to many ingredients in my crockpot and had to skip class because it was overflowing and making our apartment smell like it was burning down. And apparently
I forgot the sugar in te cupcakes so it tasted like a spoonful of salt. Wonder what could have happened there. Needless to say it was a Pinterest epic fail. But of course he ate the soup and said it was wonderful, I wouldn’t let him even touch the cupcakes! After dinner I had a scavenger hunt for him with little clues to tell him where to find some Of his favorite things! And he got me a huge box of Godiva chocolate and a diamond pendant heart necklace. Even in all the disaster
Of me trying to perfect valentines day, it was still utterly
Perfect!

My favorite Valentines memory was last Valentines day! My husband was in Italy for business the whole month of February. We talked about not getting each other anything until he got home. To my surprise, on Valentine’s day, he had chocolate covered strawberries delivered to my work with the most touching card! It was so special to me because even half way across the world, he still thought about me. It was perfect!

My fiance and I don’t really go all out for Valentines Day, hes allergic to chocolate so it eliminates a lot, lol. We usually do cards and Ill bake a cheesecake. I do remember 1 specific Vday that sticks out about 5 years ago we moved to NC from Ohio and we were both working part time while he was in school. We weren’t making very good money and he didnt get paid until the day after Vday so betime he got to the store they had no vday cards left so he brought me home a thank you card. Inside he wrote the most amazing little letter thanking me for always being there for him and making the move so that he could follow his dream. It totally made me cry. You dont need much in life, its just enough to know that you’re truly loved 🙂

My favorite valentines day would be the first one when my now husband and I started dating. He bought me beautiful flowers and we went for a walk around a town where we were from (it was a nice February day that we were able to do so!) He planned for us to go to the movies for us to see Dear John, which I know that he did not want to see but since I love to read Nicholas Sparks books he sat through it for me! We then went out to dinner at Paces Steakhouse which is an amazing restaurant. I had the best shrimp every and have never been able to find them anywhere else. It was such a perfect day and I would not change it for anything!
My favorite valentine’s day is probably the one from when we were dating. I do not remember the specifics but he came to my job & gave me roses. 🙂 My husband is overseas right now so he is not here if I won but if I won I could get pictures of me to give him or of our three children. 🙂
My favorite memory was Valentine’s Day 2012. My boyfriend at the time (now husband) did an elaborate surprise for me of a box hidden in the woods that was only accessible by finding it with a gps! Inside were chocolates, a cd of songs that reminded him of me, paper hearts with messages on them, a photo album, a rubber steak (a hint of where we were going to dinner) and tickets to see The Vow. It was so sweet and carefully thought out! <3

My favorite Valentine’s Day memory is when my husband unexpectedly bought me flowers. I know that sounds common…but for him it wasn’t. His mother’s birthday is on Valentine’s Day and after 67 years the novelty of it still hasn’t worn off for her. She has taken hearts, pinks, red, love…anything commercially Valentine’s to the extreme. So when I first me my husband he told me he is romantic all year ’round (he is!) and that Valentine’s is too commercial and goofy for him. Well the year he surprised me with flowers was the year I went back to work full time after being a stay at home mommy. I so enjoyed looking at those flowers on my desk! I felt very special when they were delivered and to my surprise they were for me!
My favorite Valentine’s will most likely be this year! My husband has always been super sweet and thoughtful on Valentine’s Day and other random days throughout the year, buying me flowers, making or buying chocolate covered strawberries, and making the night romantic, but seeing how he does this for his girls warms my heart even more! This will be the first year that he has 3 girls to spoil and the first year that my oldest will truly understand, so I am anticipating a fun and sweet day! Close in seconds is when I was a little girl and my dad surprised me with black and gold heart earrings that I had picked out (thinking that they were for my aunt). I have great men in my life who always know how to make me feel special.
My favorite Valentine’s Day memory is the first one my husband and I celebrated after we became parents. We couldn’t find a sitter but wanted to make it special. So we simply got in the car and went out to eat with our 2 month old daughter in tow. We had a great dinner, then we went home and snuggled on the couch.
My favorite Valentine’s Day memory had to include chocolate, cards and flowers. Just the usual stuff for my husband and I.
My favorite valentine memory was probably the year my then BF now husband drove over 2 hrs from college to visit me. He brought me candy, flowers and a CD that I had been wanting. We didn’t do anything spectacular but sit up on the couch watching movies. And I here I had spent the first half of that day moping around wishing he were there and then he was! ❤️❤️❤️

My favorite Valentine memory is how even with traditions my fiance Vance is still so creative. Last year I got off early on Valentine’s day and traveled the hour south to visit Vance for the weekend. Vance was scheduled to be in meetings until just before our dinner reservation. Shortly after arriving at the house, the door bell rang, to my surprise a Vance is standing at the door holding a dozen roses and a box of hand made chocolates. We enjoyed a relaxing night of sushi and snuggling….followed by way too much chocolate
My favorite memory is valentine’s day 2009, when i was teaching 1st aid/cpr for work up in winston salem and i went into labor with my first little one. Ended up huffing and puffing driving back to huntersville. I didn’t want my daughter to get hosed for a lifetime with a valentine’s day birthday, so i literally held her in until the wee hours of the 15th.
My husband had phnemonia four years ago and we were unable to go out so we spent the day laying round in our pjs playing scrabble and eatting ice cream. How romantic!
My favorite Valentine’s memory was when we barely had two nickles to rub together yet my fiance came home with a DOZEN roses!! I was pregnant with our first child at the time. We were young, poor but in love and excited to face the future. Now, 11 years and 3 kids later we are still in love and the roses are hanging from a hook in our bedroom!

My favorite memory is the first that my husband (then boyfriend) spent together. We had been together about 10 months at the time and he cooked me dinner. I got to his house (we were in college) and he had made a spaghetti dinner with probably 3lbs of ground beef and only one can of sauce. It was so gross but so sweet! 🙂
My original copy of pride and prejudice from my husband for our first valentines day.
