I can’t believe it’s the end of July and my youngest niece has already turned one! Matt and I love being able to share in these special moments with our family and we have had a blast ever since we got to Charlotte. Matt’s brother and sister-in-law had a private cake smash session with just us family on Grace’s birthday, which is the 4th of July. We bought her beaded necklaces and a little Uncle Sam hat to wear as she dove into the cake. This was Grace’s first experience having cake all to herself and she was a little more reserved than we all thought she would be. She mainly enjoyed scraping the frosting off, but as soon and her mom shoved her hand into the chocolate cake…it was all over and she covered herself in it. These are a few of my favorites from that day.
A couple weeks later they threw an awesome pink and yellow butterfly themed party for Grace with all their friends. It was at Cornelius Road Park in Mooresville, which is brand new and had a great playground for all the little ones.
Looks like Grace had fun with all that cake 😉
OMG the cake smashing ones are soo adorable!
