We met up with Jenna and Chris outside of Asheville for a very special Black Balsam Knob engagement session! None of us had been there before and I am definitely not a hiker, so it was all knew to me but oh my gosh was it amazing! The hike was a bit hard for me as it was 3/4 mile uphill and over some huge rocks, but we made it!! All of us were winded but when we got close to the top we were stunned at the beauty of the mountains and sunset. It could not have been more beautiful!

Let me tell you this, hiking together is definitely a bonding experience! We chatted in between catching our breath and laughed at how out of shape we were! We helped each other every step of the way and it was a blast! Matt and I had so much fun with Jenna and Chris! It was definitely cold but they braved it and were amazing in front of the camera! Like seriously…they are naturals. Also, can we just talk for a minute about how stunning Jenna’s out fit is?! I’m completely obsessed!!! Yes, they both did hike up the mountain in those outfits! I am now a huge fan of Black Balsam Knob and can’t wait until the next time we head over there! It’s such a stunning view!
