Matt and I went to a Wedding Wire Networking event a little while ago and it was a great experience! We were able to meet some amazing local vendors and exchange some information about our businesses. While we were there I ran into Jennifer of Jennifer Renee Photography who I had met once before. We hadn’t had a chance to really get to know each other so we took advantage of the time we had at the event and talked for a while! We instantly hit it off and decided that we wanted to work together in the future! A few weeks later Jennifer asked me to photograph an engagement with her, and I was thrilled! I absolutely love her work and was extremely excited to work with her and get to know a new couple.

She asked me to meet her, Jonathan and Brooke at this old abandoned barn in Mooresville. When Jonathan and Brooke pulled up in their bright shiny red Camaro I knew that this was going to be a fun evening and we were going to HAVE to get some shots with the car!

Jonathan and Brooke are one fun, adorable, and classy couple who were so easy to photograph; they were naturals! I loved getting to know them and their story. They even brought their little dog, Zoey! Doing an engagement shoot with a dog can be very challenging. It can be hard to keep up with them but Zoey was awesome; she obeyed and was extremely photogenic! We took them to another location that had such great light and awesome character. Jennifer recommended this old furniture factory that’s also in Mooresville and it was an awesome place to take them! This shoot could not have been more perfect!
