Justin and Morgan’s wedding is one that is very dear to our hearts. Matt and I have known Justin for almost a decade and was a huge part of how Matt and I met. Justin and Matt lived together for several years and was a groomsman in our wedding. He is was of the most kind hearted people we know. When they asked us to photograph their wedding day we were so honored and ecstatic! We hadn’t met Morgan yet, but were anxious to meet the woman who stole his heart. The four of us grabbed coffee together in May when we were in Louisville visiting family, and hit it off immediately. Morgan and I had actually attended the same small college, Asbury, in Lexington but graduated different years. Morgan is a teacher with a little one of her own who would be their ring bearer and is simply adorable. We were told that this day would be, while a joyous day, a sad one as well as her sister had passed away last year. Her sister loved butterflies and so as a tribute to her, there would be butterflies in Morgan’s bouquet, the centerpieces and the cake. They were also going to have a bouquet made for her, which her mom would carry down the aisle.
Their wedding day at the Parklands was simply beautiful! The weather was perfect and they were surrounded by those closest to them. Congratulations again to these two! Thank you for having us capture your special day!
They took a little time to pray together! Love moments like these.
We spent a little time on the bridge where Justin proposed.
