Bennett & Brittany’s Ritz Carlton Wedding

Ben and Brittany’s Ritz Carlton Charlotte wedding last fall was one for the books. We absolutely adore this couple and their families and it was the perfect way for our 2019 season to come to a close.

Engagement Session

We first met Ben and Brittany when we photographed her sister, Jessica’s, wedding in 2016. Matt and I were so honored and excited when they asked us to document their fall wedding at the Ritz Carlton in the Urban Garden. We photographed their engagement session back in the spring at the Biltmore, which you can check out here, and got to know them even better!

Wedding Day Vision

Brittany’s sister-in-law owns the fabulous Honey Belle Events and pulled together a fun and stunning day. Not only is Kaci a talented planner/designer she also is a very talented watercolor artist! For instance, she painted the map of Charlotte that was included in the guests welcome bags. Kaci also handmade the hexagon alter, the invitations, the calligraphy marble escort pieces and the stunning seating chart with the Charlotte skyline. In other words, she is truly one talented woman!

I was completely obsessed with the head table! Jonathan and CLux pulled out all the stops for that gorgeous set up! Nothing was missed by any of the incredible vendors and the stunning Urban Garden was the perfect setting for their reception.

Charlotte is an important place for Brittany and Ben, so instead of table numbers they had each table named a different parts of the city! Such a fun idea!!

Wedding Day at The Ritz Carlton

Brittany and Ben’s Ritz wedding day was full of sweet moments and happy tears, including my own, as these two said “I do”. Their ceremony was so beautiful and their love for each other was so evident. They compliment each other perfectly and are honestly so easy to photograph. I know both of them were a ball of nerves leading up to the first look. I’m so happy they did one because once they saw each other, they were so relaxed and ready to walk down the aisle.

One of the many things that both Matt and I loved were Ben’s custom shoes and personalized bobbleheads!! All of the groomsmen had matching ones and really fun ties! Brittany’s gift to him was a gold version of the same shoes. So so fun!! Brittany is such a thoughtful gift giver, because she also gave her dad the sweetest tie. At the bottom of it, had the cutest photo of them when she was little. I loved that!

Their exit may be my favorite of all time. It was so amazing! The amount of confetti that the guests unleashed was hilarious. Just wait until the last few photos! It was so much but so awesome at the same time. No wedding we’ve ever done has had an exit like that and it will forever be my favorite.
