Romantic Mountaintop Wedding Portraits at Smithmore Castle

Cheri and Clayton’s Smithmore Castle wedding portraits are some of my favorites! The venue was the perfect backdrop for their weekend away celebrating their nuptials. They decided to go a nontraditional rout which I absolutely love!

Cheri and Clayton have been together for a long time and had a courthouse elopement in the morning and then headed to the mountains for a day of pampering and portraits. Cheri’s custom gown by MeaganKelly Designs was beautiful and suited her so well! Her dress really showed off those gorgeous Jimmy Choo Cinderella slippers which had to be showcased in their photos. It may have been freezing and so windy but you’d never know that they were getting slight hypothermia during their portraits. It was such an honor for Matt and I to be a part of such a special day! Cheri and Clayton are such a sweet couple and we loved every minute of their day!
