A couple of weeks ago, Matt and I were able to visit two very good friends of ours, John and Veronica, in Virginia to celebrate their soon to be born baby girl, Annabelle! I’m so excited for these two to be parents! Annabelle is going to be one lucky little girl! They were thrown a very nice shower by family and friends and I’m so glad that Matt and I were able to be there for them! Matt and I have truly been blessed by their friendship and I’m so thankful for them.

During the weekend that we spent with them, we decided to go out for a sunrise maternity session! We were up bright and early, which totally surprised me because Matt and I are definitely not morning people! But I’m so glad we did! Although it was very cold, we battled the low temps and had a blast! These two were so easy to photograph and it was so much fun to document the beginning of this new chapter of their lives. We of course headed out to breakfast after the shoot to warm up!
