Matt and I were fortunate to be able to take a little weekend getaway a couple of weeks ago; and it was MUCH needed! We hadn’t had a vacation with it being just the two of us in a while! We decided to go to Charleston because we had never been there and have always heard such great things. It was a wonderful weekend full of relaxing, exploring, eating amazing food and of course lots of coffee! We loved Charleston! It’s such a cute little city with a lot of history! I highly recommend visiting when you have time!
When it comes to site seeing we were encouraged to take the carriage tour and it was so awesome!! We learned so much about the town’s history! That tour is definitely a must! Meet Luke…
Rainbow Row! All of the houses on this strip are a different color!
A must for Matt was to take the tour of the USS Yorktown, which is a decommissioned carrier from WWII! Right next to that was a WWII destroyer and sub! It was so neat to tour those and see the history there. Aside from my few moments of claustrophobia I really enjoyed it!
Wildflower Pastry had the most amazing scones and sticky buns!! I would go back to Charleston just for that!
WERK!
Beautiful pics Sam!
Gorgeous!
