When everything comes together for an awesome engagement session, it makes my heart so happy! We had it all, a fabulous couple in love who makes my job super easy, beautiful light, perfect weather and a special location.

Matt was out of town in Miami visiting his parents for his dad’s birthday, so I asked my good friend Bethany from Duoimagery to join me! We hopped in the car for a little road trip to Pembroke, NC where Matt and Hannah live.

I was excited to meet them. We had been emailing back and forth for a few months and I couldn’t wait to get to know them better. They decided to have us meet them at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke because they both attended there. She studied nursing, he studied business, they met at a friend’s house and as Matt put it, the rest is history!

I’m so glad that they decided to have us spend a lot of time on UNCP’s campus! I love photographing in a place that is special! They are such a sweet couple together and spending the evening with them was just fabulous. They made my job so easy. I would be about to give them directions into the next pose when all of sudden, they would just automatically do it! I love when that happens! They were complete naturals and I can’t wait for their March wedding!
