The Guild Family’s Charlotte Newborn Lifestyle Session

Newborn lifestyle session in the home are actually some of my favorite types of shoots to do, aside from weddings of course. Brittany reached out to me about having their sweet family of four photographed after their baby girl was born. I originally met this awesome couple a few years ago when I held a mini session day at a local venue and I was honored when they came back to me to document their newest addition. The intimacy and vulnerability of being in someone’s home and photographing snuggles along with some real moments is so refreshing.

In home sessions are slow paced and I focus on really capturing the raw moments along with the pretty ones. They don’t always go as planned, but that’s life, and I’m there to document it all.
