Michael and Meagan’s Duke Mansion engagement session will forever have a special place in my heart! Matt and Michael have been best friends for over 20 years and in the last 10 that I’ve known him, he’s become like a brother to me. That’s why we were beyond thrilled to be a part of their engagement story! Michael and Meagan met back in the fall and instantly hit it off!! They are definitely made for each other and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Michael and I worked together to create his plan for the proposal. He wanted me to ask Meagan if she and Michael could model for me at The Duke Mansion, and then during the session he would pop the question! Meagan is a wedding gown designer, and a talented one at that! So she wanted to create her own custom dress for the session. She had no idea what was in store!

After we decided on The Duke Mansion, I met Michael there so we could pre-select the location where he would ask her. The day of the session we started at the back of the house then made our way “the spot”. I then gave Michael the subtle single that we had previously agreed upon, and before she knew it he was down on one knee. She was completely shocked and had no idea it was coming. It could not have gone better!! Michael had designed the ring himself with a stone in her favorite color and she absolutely love it. We then continued on with their engagement session and they finished the evening with a private picnic at the estate. It was such a fun day!
