This time of year most people are excited for warmer temperatures and can’t wait for winter to be over. I, however, am a total oddball in the sense that I love cold weather and love wintertime. I love cozy days in front of the fire and bundling up when I head out for the day. I love winter fashion and all that comes with the colder temps. When I’m in each season (minus summer unless I’m at a pool or the beach) I try to slow down and enjoy what it has to offer. One thing about winter that I love is snow! We don’t get a lot of it here in Charlotte, maybe two a year. Which is tough for me because growing up in Louisville, KY we would get some good snows! Nothing like the northeast or Michigan, but a good amount with snow days! We would definitely have more than two! So when we get snow here in Charlotte, I become like a giddy kid finding out that school is cancelled. I absolutely love it! Two weeks ago we got what I was hoping for, a big snow! Up in our area of Charlotte we had about six inches! It was the best day! It snowed all day long and it was stunning! Matt and I spent some time playing the in snow, having a snowball fight and event set up the tripod to take some photos! It was perfect!! Here’s a few photos from our fun day!
